Filterstorm App Reviews

I havent figured out all the tricks yet, but it is by far the most powerful editing app I have (and I have 13 of them). It could be more user friendly, (as it is pretty complicated) but you will be able to figure out the basics quite easily. Overall it is a very fun app to use, and I have made great pictures, (including one calling out people who use "before & after" marketing, and edit the photo twice: one is better than the original, the other is worse.) and I am going to make more after I finish this review. Everyone who likes to edit photos must get this app!

The history (undo) feature crashes almost every time I try to use it. When it doesnt, something else does. Photogene has less features, but at least Im able to use it for more than 5 minutes.

I do a great deal of image making on the iPod touch in the form of photographing sketches, filtering the drawings and painting into them with programs like Autodesks Sketchbook. Filterstorm has become my constant companion for tweaks and adjustments, allowing me to produce images on a small scale with some impressive end results. If you are into multimedia or digital painting on iOS you should seriously consider adding this to your toolbox. Constant updates and attention from the developer is the icing on this rather powerful cake. The tutorial videos are very explanatory and I encourage you to check them out.

This app is really well done. There are a lot of features, crop, levels... Etc. you can export out... Its a really good app.

Its okay, but other apps offer this and more and without the bugs.Photo power Is more like photoshop than this, in 2 months havent used this app once so Im thinking its time to delete.. Its just not that great, it has layers but a horrible system to try to figure out. Not an enjoyable app to use.

Very intuitive application, user friendly once you get the hang of it. I recommand this app to anyone who likes photo editing, the platform is excellent for ios... Thanks and keep up the updates. PS. It would be nice to work on two or three project at the time

Seems very buggy and crashes constantly since the latest update.

When you open this app after you had purchased it they ask you if you want to share your pictures...I refused and because of it, I do not have access to my own picture....Really! They say:"enable access to privacy setting....where is that setting?????

This app is one of the best photo editing apps available in terms of features and functionality. Where it lacks however, is in its consistency for exporting. Ive had some photos process without issue and Ive had others crash the app part way through. This app could great but it definitely needs some wrinkles ironed out.

It gets regular updates. I use it for cropping, fixing red eye, getting rid of blemishes etc with an excellent clone tool. Tools as advanced as any desktop software. Dont really use it for filters but thats what Instagram etc is for, right? :)

Not very useful. Clunky at best.

But stay light in your work and its awesome.

Filter Storm works great, brushing, clone tool, multiple exposures, Layers, Noise reduction. Closest you will get to Photoshop on your iPhone. If just for iPad get the Pro Version, if for iPhone this one is great. Takes some getting used to but has tons of features.

Had this for quite a while as well some of the other top rated photo editing apps and Filterstorm is the best of the bunch, it has all the tools needed and then some, not bloated with a bunch of useless effects, just seems more like a professional piece of software. Thanks for this.

I highly recommend this app! Easy to use with awesome results! No need to use photoshop on my PC or iPhoto on my Mac anymore!

Strange to get used to and once I did I still didnt enjoy using it. Deleted and moved on to other photography apps.

How to describe this software? Poor UI, poor help files, totally illogical workflow, chaos and confusion, user unfriendly. Do not waste time on this one. There are many others in app store more powerful and much more user friendly.Try Sketch Club or Art Studio just to mention two very good once

This app is good. Not the simplest of the best put together but what what it can offer its good. Just not really worth 5 bucks and you probably would get better results with an app like snapseed. I suggest you go spend your 5 bucks on 3 other apps and save your self the time and the effort getting used to this one and hoping they will come up with a better version of it where the photo your editing actually fits the whole screen!!
